Went on the Canada 7 night cruise out of Montréal to Boston. Took our family of 4 (kids age 8 and 10), and brother and wife. I had done research and knew this was not a “in your face” entertainment cruise but was laid back sailing on a smaller ship with plenty of room to spare. There is no band by the pool and the entertainment on the world stage is pretty … meh.

The cabins were standard size, obstructed view and shared a door between them which worked great for our family. These rooms also had bath/showers which was a nice surprise. Very quiet area of ship, with the walkway outside the window it was easy to navigate from one end to the other.. and with curtains closed, it was very private.

The staff was excellent in all areas. The buffet was not open 24 hours but opened when needed with great surprises: Canadian themed night, Asian food with rotating and delicious curry options, and a Taco bar by the Dive In. The dining room food was great, a few in our party are vegetarians and the menu always had listings available.
