We have used ncl before and we were very satisfied. this trip was a nightmare. we book our insurance, flights, and cruise with ncl.
It started out bad with a flight delay causing us to miss our tour and pick up in reykjavik. it was less than 24 hours when i called the tour operator and was told we would not be able to refund our money. i thought i could submit it to my ncl insurance but was told because it was weather related no refunds from them. read the small print on your insurance from them.
When we got to iceland our luggage was damaged. i submitted it at the airport to air canada and to ncl. air canada has been delaying my refund although i sent before and after pictures to them. ncl won't cover it either, they told me to submit it to my home owners insurance. What did i buy insurance for.
