I wanted to see Rome and Venice since previous trips to these locations had been cancelled. What I got was so much more. The wonders of Pompeii, the challenge of Mt Etna, the cooling waters in sweltering heat... We touched 20 ports with interesting shore excursions at each location.

The crew was exceptional, catering to our every need. They knew our names the first day since there were only 32 of us on the ship.

There was more food than anyone could possibly eat, although some days we tried. Each crew member was very accessible and easy to talk with. We were made to feel like family. Although it was considerably more work, we had three evening meals on the upper sun deck. These were delightful experiences after hot days of land exploration. The Captain kept us informed each day of weather and what to expect during our overnight movements to the next port. This was a great trip and I would recommend it to anyone who loves to cruise with small groups.
