I had been to Iceland before and wanted my husband to experience it. We picked Viking because of our outstanding experience with a Rhine River cruise. Here are the main points supporting my rating.

--There are activities for all fitness levels. My husband has limited mobility, but there were enough activities onboard and ashore to keep him occupied.

--I love taking pictures. The guided photo-taking excursion was the high point for me. I have preserved wonderful memories and have gained more confidence in my ability to capture the world around me.

Cabin Review

Overall, extremely comfortable! I'm glad we got the veranda. I spent a lot of time out there shooting the midnight sun and other geological features. Good choice of TV channels catering to a variety of interests--even those of a science nerd. The bathroom was well-provisioned and well laid out. The heated floor was a treat.
