We had sailed with Viking on the Rhine River in 2017 & had the best, most wonderful, & enjoyable experience. We agreed that we would sail Viking again in a heartbeat.
We got delayed by the pandemic, but now it was an easy choice to go on a Viking River Cruise that was stopping & touring River ports we had never visited. This time we sailed the Danube River on Viking Gullveig and again had a top notch experience with every aspect of the cruise, plus the 3 day pre-cruise stay in Prague, Czech Republic.
The Gullveig & Viking River Cruises go above and beyond to make us feel welcome, comfortable, entertained, & have a great time. Well fed doesn't even adequately describe the excellent food, which is a very enjoyable part of the cruise experience.

Our cabin was very comfortable & the bed was configured the way we had requested when we arrived.
Of course it was compact, but it was very highly organized so that we did not lack for storage space.
Housekeeping was very friendly & efficient & (Viking Gullveig) Anna, our room's housekeeper, went above & beyond to make us comfortable. We did not lack for anything during our cruise. Anna was the Best!
