The booking process online was easy, but the information we needed to access was all over the place...what facilities each cabin had, local port information etc etc. Phoning the call centre to clarify information some weeks prior to departure did not yield the correct information as it turned out. The information did not overly impact the enjoyment of our cruise, but I would have changed our cabin to one with a bigger balcony while other options were still available.

Barcelona was an easy port to depart from being close to the city and the airport. There was no preferential lane for passengers booked in suites until we had cleared security, but given the size of the ship there was not a huge waiting time anyway. Having checked in online, the procedure at the port was quick, just one extra departure document to be completed.

A glass of bubbles to welcome us on board was most welcome after the heat of Barcelona and the terminal building. We were quickly welcomed by our butler Challs, who was absolutely excellent,a quick famil of our suite and we were set to explore before the safety drill. The drills have come along way, now no life jacket has to be worn and we had to make our way to the casino, which really was not big enough to fit everyone comfortably that had to be there, but the avid soccer fans in the room were pleased to be able to watch the World Cup games while we waited.

Cabin Review

Sky Suite

Cabin S1

Suite 1202. Sports Deck. Close to elevators and stairs down to the buffet restaurant. Very small balcony. Good storage space. Bathroom a bit tired- silicone visible to seal around counter top. DVD player, movies available on request, get in quickly for best selection.

12 floor a reasonably quiet deck, just occasional people up on the deck above, they can see down into the balcony as balconys extend out beyond the deck above. Being near the entry to the 12th floor from the outside decks it was quieter than I would have expected.
