Cabin: Balcony
We choose this cruise mostly because it sails out of San Francisco and we live within an hour of SF.
Also, we have always wanted to do an Alaskan cruise and not having to deal with air travel or hotels was a big plus. This was our first Princess cruise. Our previous cruises have been on Royal Caribbean.
Here are some things I preferred on the Ruby Princess.

Balcony
The balcony room was smaller than on other curises but still nice. The balcony itself was nice an deep with half covered.
