We took a chance on Scenic Luxury Cruises for The Spectacular South of France tour because they promoted themselves as an all-inclusive, 5-star, luxury cruise line.

The ports were ok, but it seems like there should have been some nicer villages to dock at along the way. We had one included tour per port. The tours were mostly disappointing. For example, the Truffle Farm did not have any truffles. The Burgundy Wine Village tour was a drive-by on the bus. The Burgundy wine tasting was at a small winery that was run by 2 women who quit their office jobs on a whim and bought a winery 2 years ago. Their wine was awful. Was this really the best Scenic could find? Having only one tour per port left a lot of free time with little to do as often the ship was sailing or the village was so small there was not much else to see. Now we know that we are not interested in all-inclusive tours, we would rather pay for better tours and more options. Read more
