Sail Date: Jul 2023
Cabin: Veranda Superior

We chose this cruise to explore the Moselle and Rhine rivers and to visit cities in France, Germany and Switzerland. Fantastic food and wine service throughout and very friendly and helpful crew. Had a very entertaining server at lunch at dinner (Istvan) and tremendously enjoyed our time with him. Servers Paula, Kinga, and Annan also were fantastic. Our cabin attendant (Dasha) was super attentive and friendly and made us feel right at home. Finally, our cruise director Andrew was a riot and very super funny.

The included shore excursions in our opinion were adequate and as expected. Plenty of water was provided whenever we left the ship. Free time occasionally could have been a bit longer to allow us to explore more by ourselves. Our guides generally were very knowledgeable and made the walking tours instructive. We had a fantastic lecture about French and German history, a nice cooking demo about how to make Alsatian “Flammkuchen”, but unfortunately the musicians who were scheduled to perform German medieval music had a technical issue on the road and the performance had to be canceled.

Cabin Review

Veranda Superior

Cabin was great and kept very clean throughout by our super attentive and friendly cabin attendant (Dasha). Loved the heated floor in the shower and the Freya toiletries. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy our balcony since the folks next door continuously smoked on theirs. Smoking should be prohibited everywhere on the ship.
