We have been on river cruises before but never with TUI. We usually go for the itinerary rather than a specific company. We saw this itinerary on the Moselle and decided to book it not knowing what it would be like on a TUI river cruise ship.

I can say that the whole experience was very good indeed. TUI excelled themselves. There were a few extra touches that we’d never had on with any other river cruise company. Firstly, a buffet lunch was provided on our embarkation day. This was a very good idea and we were very impressed by it. Another was that on disembarkation day, we were all given a packed lunch to take to the airport with us. This too, was an excellent idea. Well done TUI.

In the cabin there is plenty of storage space, with room for suitcases under the bed. In the bathroom there are Molton & Brown toiletries. The shower was the best we’d had on a river cruise. It is a good size and with a proper screen. There are no face cloths provided. There is tea/coffee making facilities in your cabin. We appreciated this as not may river cruise companies provide this.
