Always wanted to see Vienna, and this cruise allowed that. It also took place during my 75th birthday month, so who could resist? I have little to complain about, and almost nothing to share but praise!

My best friend and I made a small mistake: we spent 10 days in Paris before flying to Budapest to get on the Viking Tor.

Result: we were already tired when we got there! The Tor allowed us time to relax and soak up sun and quiet and conversation. The included excursions were well planned and had amazing guides. As novices to this lovely travel experience, my friend and I booked a few optional tours that we were too tired to attend! The biggest mistake for us was to book a full-day trip to Munich the day before departure. Because of packing, planning, and an early wake-up for that departure day, we chose to NOT take that tour. For some reason, even though we did not expect it, Viking refunded our money for that trip! (Thank you, Viking!)

Cabin Review

Small, but complete! Great little outdoor patio for sitting. Evening turndown and morning cleanup was amazing. We needed two beds separated, so that made it tough to find room to put our suitcases. However the shelves, drawers, and closet were more than adequate.
