I had an excellent time aboard Viking Alruna. The staff was extremely friendly and personable. They took my food allergy very seriously, with the Maitre D finding me every morning to tell me what dishes I would be able to eat that day. The food was excellent, as was the bar. The waiters and bartenders were very kind and helpful, with great suggestions and conversation. The lounge was very fun to be in, with live music, plenty of activities, and a beautiful view. The facilities were always clean and tidy, and our room was always cleaned promptly and quickly. I have only positive things to say about my on-board experience. I had never been on a cruise before, and I was surprised to find that I enjoyed my time on the boat as much as I did on all the on-shore excursions (maybe even a bit more). I would absolutely recommend staying on Alruna again.
