We immensely enjoyed the Rhine River cruise. The Viking Rolf Riverboat was exceptional, with many wonderful amenities. And the staff was even more exceptional. The dining selection was truly outstanding, with so many food options to select from … you will not go hungry. I am a clean freak, and the housekeeping was extraordinary. The daily scenic excursions, which by the way, were very organized by the activities director, and included with the trip package, was a great extra added bonus. The tour guides were very knowledgeable, about the various buildings/architecture and the city’s rich history. Loved touring the cathedrals. We enjoyed the many stops along the way, at the various ports. Cruising along the river, seeing the numerous towering castles was a highlight of the trip. I would highly recommend one to take a riverboat cruise with Viking, as you won’t be disappointed.
