From the moment we stepped into the Atlanta airport until we arrived at our hotel, Viking took care of everything! From booking the airfare, to arranging ground transportation to the hotel for our Pre-Cruise stay in Paris, to handling our luggage, Viking was there! We opted for the three day advance extension to adjust to the time change. It was WORTH it!

Our accommodations at the Pullman Montparnasse were very nice. The excursions we booked prior to the cruise were wonderful! Our guides were very knowledgeable. We were not rushed. When our 3 day extension ended, Viking arranged for our transfer to the ship. This was our first Viking river cruise, but it will NOT be our last! The Paris to Normandy back to Paris on the Seine was everything we wanted - but better! The Viking staff went above and beyond our expectations to make our trip great! The accommodations were great! The excursions were great! The FOOD was over the top great! Our guides added so much to our excursions. The excursion to Normandy and Omaha beach was very emotional, but the highlight of our trip. The ability to walk off the ship in any town where we had a planned stop was very easy. We scanned out and back in to keep track of who was aboard and who was still sight seeing. We loved the small ship size - less than 190 guests. We loved the age restrictions of 18 being the minimum age to cruise. There were no formal dinners. The chef was happy to accommodate any guests with food allergies or special requests. The service was very attentive! I highly recommend Viking River Cruises as an opportunity to have the vacation of a lifetime!

Cabin Review

We booked a veranda suite. It was a two room suite that was worth every penny! We had ample room to store our belongings. It was great having a sofa and chair for conversation. We had a small bar area with a refrigerator. We had fresh fruit every day. The outlets were 110v which eliminated the need for a voltage convertor. Viking thought of everything!
