Being that it was our first Viking River Cruise, or any kind of cruise, the questions abounded. But from landing in Munich to begin our journey, to the boarding of the River Boat Embla, we quickly discovered that the Viking Crew had everything in hand and all of our questions, and those even not thought of were answered. It was actually such a whirlwind adventure we didn't even realize how great it was until we were back home. The week in the hands of the Viking Crew was absolutely seamless, relaxing and effortless, all in the best way possible. You knew what to expect every step of the way. Your daily itinerary, your meals and anything else you think you might want or need are all laid out specifically just for you. You literally have want for nothing. If you do, just ask.

The country side as you cruised on the Danube was picturesque. Each port of call had its own charm. Each excursion lead you on your own personal adventure. If any wisdom to share here, it would be to step out of your comfort zone and enjoy the people, the culture and the food each city or village has to offer.

Can't say enough about ALL of the crew and staff of the Embla. How they catered to every possible need as if you were the only one traveling on the boat.
