The cruise is good but beware of your air arrangements

Some friends suggested this cruise and since I had never river cruised before I thought I give it a shot. The cruise staff was exceptional and made the trip delightful. My program director Szabe Borberly was outstanding and salvaged the trip for us. I score the cruise a solid 9 as many other cruise companies were at the same ports and it created some congestion with our daily tours. I consider rating a vacation from the time you leave your home to the time you return and I scored the to and from as a 0. Our departure flight on day 1 was delayed and as a result we missed our connecting flight to Prague. We were rescheduled for the Prague 2 days later(day 3) and were left stranded in JFK airport without luggage and slept their the first night. We managed to find a hotel that allowed for early check in the next day (day 2) without luggage and checked out on day 3 for our flight to Prague. At check in they guaranteed that our luggage would be leaving with us and we arrived in Prague mid morning of day 4 where we were informed that our luggage was still in New York. We proceeded to the hotel where the other passengers were staying met with our Program Director and shopped for a few items to wear.
The next day day 5 we traveled with the other guest to our ship, where they washed our clothing immediately free of charge. On day 6 hours before our ship was scheduled to begin our cruise our luggage arrived. From this point to the end of our cruise life was great.
Our return flight to the United States was the trip from HELL. Our luggage was collected at 3 a.m. and we were taken to the airport a 4 a.m.for a 6 a.m. flight to Paris where navigating to the gate of our next flight was extremely challenging. We left Paris on time and flew to England (Heathrow Airport) for another connection to Orlando Florida where we needed every minute allowed to get to our gate. The flight connections between Budapest and arrival in Orlando with time changes was 20 hours. We arrived in Orlando on time but once again our luggage did not make it from England and was delivered to my home 2 days later.
