In this review of the Uniworld SS Sphinx, Splendors of Egypt and the Nile River cruise, in addition to the usual customer review, I will try and answer questions that I wondered about and could not find answers to before I went on the trip.
Arrival
Arrival in Cairo depends in part on the airline you take to fly into the city. For us, it was an easy entry into the arrivals area, with access to purchasing a visa if you did not already have one (we had evisas). The Uniworld rep was there as promised and easily located. You will receive a packet of information from the rep upon arrival.
Cabin Review
Grand Suite
Large bathrooms, cabin is just like it looks in the Uniworld website. Cabin service is timely and very good. Crew terrific. Bed very comfortable.
