My husband chose this cruise as he has always wanted to see the Scandinavian countries. It was a good overview of the cities/towns we visited. There were excellent historical lectures and a great variety of entertainment and things to do onboard between the onshore excursions. The food was also excellent, and the choices many. The ship and number of people were just the right size - eight decks, six with cabins; two restaurants that required reservations, the main restaurant, the World Cafe that had a changing buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner, and a couple of smaller eateries. The crew and staff were wonderful. My feet got a workout with the various walking excursions, but worth it. We sailed mostly at night to the next port. When we sailed during the days, it was fun to watch the ocean, the landscapes and the other ships. A great first cruise for us.

Cabin Review

The cabin was the size of a regular hotel room. The bathroom was perfect - we each had a drawer for our toiletries. There was space under the bed to store our luggage. We had a small balcony with a table and two chairs. There were plenty of drawers and closet space for our clothes. The bed was a king. We also had a desk with chair, plus two side chairs with a small coffee table. The wall-mounted TV had daily schedules, cruise information, live tv, movies, tv series, music, Viking information, country overviews, etc.
