We chose this particular cruise for two reasons: it was going to ports that we had not visited previously and really wanted to see, and because it was a small ship (98 passengers). The fact that it was provided by OAT (Overseas Adventure Travel) sealed the deal for we have had very positive experiences with them and their "parent/sister" company Grand Circle Travel. This trip truly lived up to and exceeded our expectations. The ship is a bit larger and older than it's sister ship, the Clio which we sailed on in April. However, it was renovated not too long ago and provides very comfortable cabins and nice amenities. The best part of the cruise is the ships crew. They are outstanding - friendly, happy, and totally service oriented. The food was fantastic (as usual on the OAT vessels). Our initial "Trip Leader" for our 19 person group was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, and very helpful which was amazing because he had to fill in at the last minute for the original Trip Leader who had a family emergency a day before our trip started. She was able to rejoin the group and take over the Leader's position half-way through the cruise and also did a great job.
Overall, we would highly recommend an OAT or GCT cruise vacation for anyone who enjoys great service and pleasant journeys.
The cabin was large with plenty of space to maneuver. The beds (two singles pushed together to form a double bed) were very comfortable. Storage space was more than adequate with 3 closets for hanging clothes and 9 drawers, plus an in-cabin refrigerator.
