We recently embarked on an unforgettable journey to Alaska from San Francisco with Carnival Miracle Cruise. From the moment we stepped onboard, the warm and welcoming crew made our experience exceptional. The ship offered a wealth of activities, delectable dining options, and captivating entertainment, leaving no room for boredom. The cabins were clean and in excellent condition. My niece, a widow, and her kids were also traveling with us. It was a dream come true for the kids especially for Mathew who had some physical disabilities.

However, on the third day, she was told that she cannot continue the travel legally without a Canadian Visa and she has to step out of the ship as soon as we reach Juneau. This was a shock to all of us. Their dreams are shattered, her hard-earned money is gone in vain and she may have to find money to arrange her return trip. Though we tried to console, she and the kids were into tears. However, the Guest Service Manager, Ms. Guzal assured that she will do all in her power to get the best possible outcome and she did indeed! Her efforts to get an exception for the Visa failed. But she didn’t stop. She talked to her supervisors and made arrangement for their return trip form Juneau to San Jose and booked a hotel so that they can spent a day with us in Juneau. On top of that, Ms. Guzal made sure that my niece is getting full refund for the unused cruise days. It was a long process and, on every step, she updated what is happening and reassured that she was with us. In Juneau, we together visited the Mendenhall glacier, Nugget falls and did some hiking and had dinner together before my niece and family checked into the hotel arranged by Carnival. We still remember Ms. Guzal staying out in the Alaskan rain to see them off! We cannot ask for more.

Their commitment to customer satisfaction sets them apart. There was this “String Trio”, Polina, Victoria, and Alex who were bringing so much life to the evenings through their wonderful bow movements on violin. Having seen that we asked, if they can play a movie song from our Indian regional language. They said they will try and asked for three days. Well, it took five days, but on the third they played the song on our final cruise evening. Kudos to the “string trio”.
