Choosing Avalon at the request of our travel agent proved to be a perfect choice for our vacation. This was our first rive cruise , and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the ship, crew, and experiences provided by Avalon. The ship was immaculate and spacious, with several public areas to enjoy with others or relaxing alone. Our stateroom was spacious and very comfortable, with a full size bed and plenty of room in the bathroom, which didn’t make it feel like a cruise ship. Every crew member we encountered was friendly, knowledgeable and provided outstanding service. Any request we had was quickly met. We enjoyed each of the excursions we selected, and also enjoyed just taking some downtime and relaxing on the ship. The food quality and selections were outstanding. We will definitely be recommending Avalon to others, and we won’t hesitate to choose Avalon for our next river cruise.
