We recently returned from an Alaska cruise on the Silver Muse. We wanted a really nice experience for our family…Silversea most certainly delivered! We loved the food! Not every meal was sensational, but every meal was really good. A few of our meals were sensational…most notably our meals at Silver Note and Kaiseki.
We found the excursions to be well run and of great quality. There was great variety in the offerings, and we did not have an excursion we didn’t really enjoy!
We are in our late 40s/early 50s…we were afraid we would be the youngest people on the boat. We weren’t…we were right in the middle. We were also afraid the passengers would all be either stuffy or upity…neither was the case! We loved the people we met, and found them all to be very friendly and down to earth. In fact, we found most of them to be people we would hope to travel with again! BTW…never saw anyone drunk and no one was ever late for the all aboard time.
We booked a silver suite. It was AMAZING!!! We loved the room, and we loved that it included premium Wi-Fi and laundry service. Everything about our suite (to include our butler, Edmundo) was fantastic…we loved it!
Really pretty, but, due to sea ice, we couldn’t get very close. Great commentary, though…
Super fun, and the Mendenhall glacier was awesome!
Went zip lining and walked around town…both were awesome!
Great wildlife cruise…have never seen so many bald eagles in my life!
The lumberjack show was every bit as kitschy…and awesome!…as you would hope!
