We took this cruise on the recommendation of our travel agent. Generally, the cruse was fine - rooms were nice, better than expected. Excursions were interesting and well handled. Only problem, and it's a pretty big problem, was the food was awful. Dining experience was very nice - great service and presentation. The issue was the food was very bland and tasteless. Variety was ok, but just extremely bland and mostly tasteless. Some meals were ok, but generally I expected much better - we have been on huge cruise ships and the buffet food, not to mention the restaurant style service, was so much better. We were very disappointed because we had heard that the food on these smaller ships was amazing. Several other guests have been on AMA cruises before and said the food was much better on the other ships they were on. Also, there was very little between meal option. We tried to eat off the ship every chance we got and that was amazing.

If not for the poor food, I think we would have been very satisfied with this cruise.
