Main 9 night cruise enjoyable, although an excursion of two were definitely sub par ('Nijmagen and WWII' disjointed, and "Arnhem walk' a bit boring). We did the pre excursion to the main cruise (Bruges/Ghent) as well, and their day trip to Flanders was also disappointing.

There was an outbreak of sorts (with many coughing at around day 5 or six of cruise), with it affecting about 5 days of our time on ship (when we were too sick to explore the towns or go to meals). So while it was not Viking's fault we were sick, the overall cruise was tempered a bit. So it's difficult to rate Viking here, we're rating the trip experience.

So, Viking cruises (all things being equal) are enjoyable. While we weren't entirely happy with how this trip turned out, the staff of Viking, the directors, and the overall running of the line is still excellent.

Small, but functional

Amsterdam

Vibrant and exciting; but bikes are an absolute menace (lol).

Hoorn

Wonderful town, with great restaurants, sights, and bars.

Rotterdam

Architecture is amazing in this modern looking city.

Antwerp

Everything we saw, we marveled at - great buildings, history, and food.
