We have cruised with Scenic several times over the years and our views maybe influenced by better times. That said we thoroughly enjoyed this trip but there were definite signs of "economising" and unless they careful they will just become one of the pack.

Pros - Service was generally good although at times restaurant staff showed signs of inexperience. The onboard entertainment was excellent and we enjoyed some very talented local musicians. As usual the enrichment nights excelled with superb performers in beautiful settings. Embarkation and disembarkation were efficient and fuss free. The excursions were generally very good.

Cons - The food was hit and miss, especially dinner service. There are signs of lack of attention to detail such as breakfast trays and glasses lying in corridors for hours. The choice of beers was limited to lager or wheat beer. How about a bottled IPA or dark beer? Read more
