I had traveled on VIking on other time, and liked the itinerary of this trip. It was well planned with great excursions. The food was excellent and the staff were great. The excursions went off without a hitch. Each one was very informative and interesting. We especially enjoyed learning about Martin Luther. The entertainment on board was good and we enjoyed his music selections. Very talented guy. We booked the precruise in Berlin and the post cruise in Prague. Both cities were amazing. The hotel accomodations were excellent and both hotels were centrally located. It did take a long time to get confirmation from Viking on the hotel choice in Prague as we did not find out until about a week before the cruise which made it difficult to plan an itinerary. My only concern was the inefficiency of the WiFi service; very spotty. When it worked it only worked in our cabin but no where else on the ship. Given the fact that Viking references you to use their mobile app for information, they should have flawless WiFi service.
We booked the veranda suite for more room and comfort. It was very nice but had a very small closet. Not enough for two people to unpack and hang items.
The city was so clean and the people very friendly. We would go back for a longer stay in a heart beat.
