My wife, sister and law and brother- in- law traveled together on the Viking Venus on the British Isles cruise. We boarded in Greenwich and disembarked in Bergen, Norway, and we had a fantastic experience. The cruise was the perfect combination of a relaxing time on the ship combined with shore excursions on almost every day. The Viking Venus is a smaller ship designed for smaller ports so the locations we visited were not overrun with other cruise ships. Viking does a fabulous job taking care of its guests and making each guest feel special. I highly recommend this cruise if you want a low impact experience on a smaller ship with minimal entertainment, but great food and great excursions. My only criticism is that the lectures appear to be a little prepackaged and not real up to date. With all that is going on in the British Isles there are plenty of opportunities to lecture on up to date British topics like Brexit that we in the States need to know more about.

Cabin Review

Penthouse Veranda Stateroom

We chose the Penthouse Veranda which had plenty of room for the two of us. Great views from our balcony and easy access to the public areas of the ship. We were very pleased with the PV cabin.
