Sail Date: Jun 2023

I have been wanting to take a Viking cruise for several years. During COVID lockdown, we were having a "virtual Happy Hour" with some friends and they suggested we go ahead and book something for after the world returned to normal. We all agreed that a Viking cruise was something we all wanted to do, so we bit the bullet and booked for 2023. Definitely the best idea we had during lockdown! We investigated everything from the cabin level, to ship placement to the side of ship we wanted to be on.

The cabin was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed sitting on our veranda each night as we moved from port to port. Our Cabin Steward, Abdul, was more than helpful and anticipated many of our needs before we ever voiced them. Every time we needed something, he was quick to respond.

We enjoyed all of the dining experiences onboard, but our favorite was breakfast every morning in the World Cafe. The selection of prepared items was amazing and my wife enjoyed getting an omelette prepared each day.
