A fantastic cruise on Swan Hellenic Minerva. Stopped at 10 incredible ports on this cruise. Small ship so we could get into ports that the larger ships can't manage.
Food, service, staff and cleanliness excellent. We could not fault it but there were lots of grumbles from many who kept referring to previous cruises on this line. Most of the complaints were about the quality of the food. This was excellent and a great choice, and if a course was not of the quality expected, there was no problem in changing it.
Other complaints/grumbles were that when we had to get to the port by tender, it took too long to disembark (many passengers were elderly and disabled and wanted to go ashore so were somewhat slow). The crew responsible for helping passengers on to the tenders were extremely competent, patient and pleasant, especially with the less agile. Maybe some of those complainers will have to use a stick one day!!
