We traveled as a family, my husband, our adult son and myself. We always wanted to go on a river cruise and Jewels of the Rhine was perfect for us. The itinerary is perfect and the towns we stop to visit are just beautiful, most of them having preserved their medieval architecture. Having a guide telling us about the historical places was very important to us. Emerald Luna is a modern ship with very comfortable cabins, even the standard ones, without a balcony, where we stayed. The public areas are also comfortable and spacious and have beautiful views. The staff in the ship are very nice and friendly, and do their best to make you feel comfortable. The food and drinks served in the restaurant are of the best quality. We had a memorable, amazing experience, and we certainly intend to do another river cruise with Emerald in the future.
