Couldn't wait to get to the ship, the shuttle bus journey was only 5 minutes but seemed to take forever due to our excitement! When we pulled up next to the ship, our jaws dropped in amazement. We couldn't get over the size of the ship. We spent the first day looking around and getting our bearings. Throughout the 5 nights on the ship, every single crew member we walked past spoke to us, without fail. The crew are so friendly and helpful throughout the entire stay. Every last inch of the ship's interior had been thought about and even though it is not a new ship, it looked as though it has just been built. Everything was clean, tidy and nothing was broken. On the captain's evening, we got dressed up and had our first meal in the dining room. We were looking forward to sitting on a table of other people and learning about their holiday experience but unfortunately we were put on a table on our own in a separate room to the main dining room. The waiters were not overly friendly and the atmosphere was bad. This put us off the dining room for the rest of our trip. On our next cruise we will ask to be in the dining room on a larger table and give it another chance. We ate in Johnny Rockets one night which was brilliant. £4.95 cover charge each for all you can eat. The staff were brilliant and they just keep topping up your chips and onion rings until you tell them to stop! You could have as many burgers and as many deserts as you could eat. The cruise compass was excellent so we knew where we should go each day to see the shows and parties etc. We saw the ice show which I was very impressed with, definitely worth watching. Elton John tribute act was great and the farewell party was good fun to watch. The smaller shows on the promenade were always fun as you could join in if you wanted or just sit and watch. Will definitely be booking another cruise soon. Maybe next time we will see even more of the ship!
