We picked this cruise for its itinerary and didn’t know anything about the Summit. We loved the itinerary and felt that it had the perfect mix of days in port and days at sea.
Embarkation was quick and efficient and bags arrived in our staterooms quickly. Our room attendant, Charlie, was excellent.
The ship was lovely. It had recently been updated and although still not the most modern we’ve seen, the food and service were the best compared with any cruise we’ve taken. Every single staff person we encountered was over the top friendly and helpful. Always very accommodating. We were also pleasantly surprised with the quality and selection of the food. It far exceeded our expectations.

Celebrity Suite
We were on the concierge level and were given a handicap accessible room. We were disappointed with this assignment until we saw the room. Although the shower had a curtain instead of a door (slightly less convenient) the overall additional size of the room more than made up for it. We also had a much larger balcony which was another great benefit.
