We just got back from a wonderful Mediterranean cruise, on Azamara Journey. This cruise line is so wonderful ! We have been on 10 cruises, to date. Azamara has been the most attentive, efficient, kind helpful to its passengers.
From the captain, who greets you every morning with info and is there when you leave the ship for port adventure.
He kept us informed ,communicated and was friendly . So important ! We had terrible experience with Oceania.
Veranda balcony cabin, comfortable, clean, great cabin attendant, Kadek.
This is same category we usually get. The size and amenities are the same as other ships.
Comfortable even if small. Balcony gives open feeling. You can see , walk out, get air and views.
Bathroom is small. Again, same as other ships we have been on.
Pack light as possible. Attendant kept it clean and well supplied.
We did Gaudi tour. Amazing what a surprise. We were in awe.
Great tour guide, small group.
We also walked around on our own. It was Very crowded. Fascinating to see streets. Old and new . Fun stores. Restaurants tricky. Had a a great tapas lunch one day. Another day we felt is was a tourist restaurant. Overpriced and food was not very good. Try to get a good referral for eating .
We had a wonderful time.
We did the ship excursion to St Tropez.
We loved st tropez ! Wished we could have stayed longer.
Did a morning walking tour, very good.
Walked around on our own. Had a lovely lunch on a beautiful street. Shopped its wonderful stores.
The tour bus took us to another destination, Port Grimaud.
It felt like a tourist stop , not much to see or do there.
We could have skipped that and spent more time in St Tropez.
Wished we could have spent the whole time in St Tropez!!
