Egypt and the Nile have always been on the top of our bucket list, this cruise was perfect in all respects! Hotels were outstanding as were the meals and excursions. The Balloon Ride over the Valley of the Kings and the Excursion to Abu Simbel were our highlights. The Program Director, Rasha Mady, was absolutely brilliant. Her knowledge of Egyptian history and culture was very impressive, and the attention/care she gave each and everyone of the cruise participants was superb. The ship was brand new, the veranda room was spacious, clean and provided everything we needed. The Room cleaning staff (especially Ali) was professional, polite and always available to help in anyway possible. The The restaurant staff was outstanding (especially Mohammed). The choice of meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner was brilliant, with a combination of classic staples and local choices. Be prepared to walk, the folks at Viking have arranged for a full agenda every day. Enjoy the adventure.

Veranda Stateroom

The ship was brand new, the veranda room was spacious, clean and provided everything we needed. The Room cleaning staff (especially Ali) was professional, polite and always available to help in anyway possible. Would strongly recommend getting a cabin with a veranda!
