Sail Date: Jun 2023

We had booked a cruise for our honeymoon in 2020 but, 2020 happened and we all know how that went. Overall on Magic we have no complaints. Now the obvious is that this ship needs some TLC. Maybe dry dock this ship for a year and Reno the entire ship.

This being our first cruise we had no idea what to expect. One thing I would change is we bring our own luggage instead of checking it. We boarded the ship around 2:15pm and our bags were delivered after 7pm while at dinner. I did not care for that at all but live & learn. Anyway, our Stateroom Attendant Gede was fantastic! He was from the Philippines and every morning it was always good morning followed by my name. Also the attendants are quick so you’re not out of your room for longer than an hour at most.

We bought the Cheers drink package and was very difficult to use at times. Bars were always crowded with bar tenders doing their best to keep the flow of orders. The one bar we enjoyed the most was the Serenity Bar on deck 15. Never really crowded and easy to access. In the future we probably will forgo the package and maybe just get the basic drink package.

Cabin Review

Spa Suite is a good value with a larger room!

Nassau

Nassau is filled with street vendors with great gifts that are made right in Nassau.
