My wife and I celebrated our anniversary on this bucket list trip. We had sky high expectations and were not disappointed. This was our first time cruising on Princess and will definitely cruise with them again. Our itinerary took us to both great natural wonders at Hubbard Glacier and Glacier Bay National Park as well as fun adventures like dog sledding in Skagway and whale watching in Juneau. On board entertainment was generally good, with vocal impressionist Tricia Kelly and pianist Funch being the highlights. We had a mini-suite cabin and it was well appointed and plenty spacious. Our cabin steward Miguel was superb. All our meals were well prepared and service was excellent. Princess has done an excellent job of leveraging technology to expedite embarkation, debarkation and for guests to manage on-board activities. The Princess medallion and wi-fi worked well. My only recommendation to make this itinerary better would be to schedule a few more hours for the port call in Juneau.
Well appointed, comfortable cabin. Plenty of storage space and electrical outlets/electronic ports. We were in cabin E729, starboard side, aft. Had a great view of the wake from our generous sized balcony. Although we were not bothered by movement on rough sea days, people prone to sea sickness might want to avoid being this far aft on an Alaska cruise.
Amazing up close views of glaciers. Minimal sightings of wildlife.
Great excursion on the train to White Pass. The dog sledding adventure was a huge highlight!
