Viking has a reputation for no kids, no loud parties, no gambling and no mega ships. All of this combined with 1st class on board service and 5 star restaurant and bar experiences make Viking the only choice for us. Every room is a balcony room - there are no inside rooms on this ship. The ship has so many venues to enjoy throughout the day and evening and none of them ever feel crowded or loud. The one way cruise from Vancouver to Seward leaves nothing left unseen or unexperienced on an inside passage cruise. The cost is at least double what you pay on any other cruise line but is worth every penny. We recommend the purchase of the Silver Spirits Drink package if you enjoy a cocktail or two before and/or after dinner. Beer and wine are already included with meals but we more than made our money back by having wine or cocktails in the late afternoon, before and after dinner in the many venues of the ship to enjoy the view, the music or the conversation of other guests. If you are looking for your once in a lifetime Alaskan Cruise this is the one.
