I wanted a cruise with a small number of guests not a large cruise ship. Viking nailed it! The ship was modern and very well equipped. Just the right size for a relaxing vacation. The pre-cruise extension to Lake Como was well worth the extra money. I especially LOVED the special leisure tours because due to mobility issues we couldn't keep up with the other guides. Our leisure guides kept a slower pace and allowed us to enjoy the city tours at our pace. I wasn't expecting so much history on this cruise. The trip to the WWII museum and the French countryside gave me goosebumps. The crew on the Viking Sigrun was very friendly and helpful from housekeeping to the captain, especially the program director. Everyone went above and beyond my expectations.

More importantly, we never felt unsafe in any of the ports and on the excursions. I can't wait to go again!
