We chose Viking because of previous river trips that turned out to be fun and interesting experiences. The ship, the staff, the food & tours were the best and met our expectations. If we needed something extra there was always somebody available to help. We had many discussions with staff people and were very happy to learn that Viking treats their people like the true professionals they are. We, as guests, were also treated courteously. It always amazes us how the itineraries are put together. So much diversity is offered that one wonders how schedules are met. We never have any problems with the activities we've signed up for and, if for some reason something must be changed or substituted, the new program is always equal to the original plan. We are already planning our next Viking Cruise and have no doubt will be as happy with wherever we go as we were with our Danube Cruise.
