After reading many reviews of River cruise companies we chose this one for their high marks. We made our own flight arrangements because we had more control over when our flights were ticketed and for about the same price as Viking offered for Premium Deluxe seats. After reading all the negative and positive of letting Viking choose and make flight arrangements even with Viking Air Plus we felt it was easier our own way.

We chose a Deluxe Veranda with the living room. It was spacious and very well appointed. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne, wine, beer, soft drinks and water in the refrigerator. Next day we had fresh flowers. We also like the fact that we had free laundry included in this room. Other wise it would be extremely expensive. All the toiletries were upscale and plentiful. We had them add a top sheet for our bed because the duvets tend to be to hot for our comfort.

Everyday you receive the next days itinerary and any tickets for excursions we had planned. It was full of great information of each port and all the times needed. Read more
