We chose this cruise for a family reunion adventure. There were four siblings and two spouses. My brother had been on two Viking Cruises and when this one came up he thought it would be great family fun. We all agreed and set his plan in action. We met up in Thunder Bay where Viking collected us at the airport and delivered us in grand fashion to the docks, treated us to a snack and ushered us on board. It was obvious that Viking thankfully was not a run of the mill party boat which I have no patience for. There wasn’t a thing about our trip that I didn’t love. The libraries were phenomenal; the food was fantastic; but best of all was the crew. It was apparent that they love what they do and are passionate about this unique adventure. My husband can’t stop talking about the “toy box” and I have to admit that it was AWESOME! We are already thinking about our next Viking adventure but the Octantis will be a hard act to follow.

Cabin Review

Our cabin was well thought out and extremely comfortable. It was kind of a Goldilocks cabin; not too big, not too small, but just right. The steward was to be commended for his ability to anticipate what we needed, and the care he took to make sure all was perfect.

Port Reviews

Silver Islet

Silver Islet was a fascinating location to visit. Rich historical significance and scenic.
