World Europa is a beautiful ship. For its size, I was pleasantly surprised we did NO tendering. Also, you don't wait in as many lines as you might think. There are multiple venues for all types of things to do. I was also pleasantly surprised that the long (11 story?) dry slide was offered without an extra fee. The meals had fancy names in the dining room but were just average. The desserts were pretty good. The buffets were VERY confusing but slightly better than average. What made them confusing is that during PEAK dining hours, often one was closed. When there is only one open, it is a mad house. There was no rhyme or reason to this so you never knew whether to get off at 18 or 19.
Cons: It's VERY hard to get their internet set up without help. Forget using it with a VPN. They did so many things to our phones to activate it (you go to the PHOTO SHOP, NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE), that none of us could follow them.
Forget winning in the casino. We had a group of 12 and I think one person came out on the plus side. A few lost more than they ever had before on any other cruise ship. I wouldn't book them again because of this. I enjoy playing in the casino (slots) and don't care about a big hit or about losing a reasonable amount. I just want to be able to PLAY. You can't enjoy a night of playing before you lose with them. You lose, then lose, then lose more.....NO fun in that. After losing a bundle :), they offered a 10% discount (are you serious) on our next cruise and a bottle of Paco Rabanne....REALLY??? No offer for FREE PLAY (they don't offer anyone vouchers). Ironically, I had already gotten offers for a FREE cruise with them.....they need to get their act together.
It was just smaller than average, about 170-180 SF. Nothing special.
Love this port and city. Too many things to see and do to itemize. Great Gaudi architecture.
