We are coming to the end of the Gems of the Danube river cruise. It has been absolutely fantastic. We came along to accompany my elderly parents and didn’t really know what to expect. It has far exceeded our expectations and those of my parents too. The ship is beautiful and incredibly well maintained. The staff are absolutely exceptional - this is by far the best customer service we’ve had in a long time, and we travel a lot. Friendly and fun, with nothing too much trouble. The trips are excellent. Great choices, very well managed, good guides and lovely clean modern coaches. The highlight was a personalised classical concert at the Palais Lichtenstein in Vienna, which was stunning.

Food and drinks have been excellent throughout with a good choice of dining options. The service each day has been exemplary.

I would heartily recommend this Scenic trip. My parents are c.80 but found they were able to do everything as the trips tend to be undemanding but still allow you to see a lot. Read more
