We’ve always loved Celebrity and last year booked a back to back for this year but won’t rush to come on Celebrity again certainly NOT Beyond. It’s definitely now a 2 class ship. Retreat passengers have a totally different experience. If you’re on Classic drinks package you have to pay EXTRA for WATER! One of our group drinks no alcohol and couldn’t get still or sparkling water unless she paid extra. On this ship there are NO quiet spaces. No library card room or quiet bar. Great if you want a “ party” ship but older passengers appreciate some areas where they can enjoy not having music blasting out.
If you’re young you’ll love this ship but I’d suggest over 65’s might want to explore other options.
They’ve definitely cut back on small things that we used to take for granted.
Cabin Review
Our cabin was lovely. We’d deliberately picked a rear stateroom as the balconies are open. Most of the balconies are “ infinity” which we had last time and dint really like as we felt “ closed in”. Well designed and spotless.
