Sail Date: May 2023
Cabin: Grand Suite
Traveled with children

We were in room (Grand Suite) sailing out of Tampa to CocoCay and Nassau. We sailed in a Grand Suite on Freedom of the Seas out of Miami in Feb. this year and found the two experiences to be vastly different. Some info that's not really pro or con but just to keep in mind: The Serenade ship is smaller and therefore feels much more crowded. We could hear the music from the Centrum and pool deck in our room throughout the day and until about 10-11pm at night. The arcade costs are crazy expensive, in some cases $3.00 per game play. Not many shop options. Formal Night has been changed to "dress your best" and there's a lot more dressing down. We chose to sail out of Tampa since it was a short drive, however we won't pick this port again since it's only smaller boats and the traffic around the port is a nightmare.

Pros:

All of the staff was very friendly. Great with our young kids.
