Sail Date: May 2023

We selected this cruise for our first Virgin Voyage experience after a review from a friend who sailed in December. We are experienced cruisers and decided to sail as Mega Rockstars in the Gorgeous Suite. Embarkation was a little delayed but not bad. We were escorted onto the ship as the first group, which was nice.

Service and communication was lacking throughout the cruise. There is a no tipping policy but we did witness a guest tipping at a restaurant table next to ours. Our server soon left us and gave extra attention to this guest. Pink Agave and Gunbae were good dining along with the pizza place on board. Other options were average at best. Spa area we had access to was very nice and so was the massages we purchased. Great thing with the spa was no hard sale on their products after the massage like on other cruises. They simply asked if we enjoyed, gave us our water, and thanked us for coming in.

Richard's Rooftop was nice...lots of space and staff was very pleasant. The hot tubs were a little smaller than we hoped for but we still enjoyed. No inside Mega Rockstar area which would have been nice to have to mingle with others when warm or raining.

Cabin Review

Spacious and clean. Balcony was very spacious with two lounge chairs, hammock, and a bistro set.
