We have cruised with different cruise lines over the last 15 years. Being a daughter of a Disney fanatic I had to try a Disney cruise for our grandkids.
Let’s start with the positives. Our favorite bar to visit was Soul Cat Lounge. Isasias the Lead bartender is excellent and all of the hosts that work with him are the nicest and most friendly people ever! They really made our trip happy even through the storms of complaints. Disney’s lower level cruise staff are EXCELLENT, they are all hard working people. I pray they are compensated accordingly.
Disney Castaway Cay was so nice and relaxing. Disney did a great job with this island. The kids club staff was also good however, on other cruise lines their kids clubs took the children to eat and did some activities on board other than stay inside the club. Parents should be aware that you must pick up your children to feed them. The manager of the kids club also addressed an issue our daughter had with another child immediately. She was very professional and nice.
Stateroom host was excellent and always very accommodating. Stateroom’s AC not working properly and the room is located right below Deck 3 and there is running and stomping over your head until about midnight on most nights. Stateroom reeked of paint odors 2 days in a row.
Disney did a wonderful JOB with this Bahamian Island!!!
