Cabin:

I felt publicly embarrassed on our Royal Caribbean’s Allure of the Seas cruise out of Galveston. Our first dinner started off with the waiter saying the “chicken was finger licking good.” When we left the dinning room, we were greeted with passengers licking their finger. So on and so on daily. I complained to the Restaurant Manager about this but to no avail. The last day of the cruise they sat me by a lady from my small hometown community who spoke rudely to me during the entire meal. Otherwise: the complimentary food was mediocre for cruise quality, waited in line 30 minutes for “my time” dinning, only one turn down service a day, did not know our cabin number till 2 days before boarding, had to look hard for daytime entertainment, Mama Mia was canceled for technical difficulties, but the show Blue Planet was marvelous until the last 3 minutes when the microphones went out.

We are two 75 year old great grandparents with health issues who wanted to celebrate our 55th anniversary. This was our second time on this ship. The first time was marvelous or we would not have returned.

Cabin Review

The cabin seemed narrow. We had an interior balcony but it was often too warm outside to use it. Our cabin over looked the Boardwalk so it was often noisy into the morning hours.
