We chose this cruise because of the date, other traveling partners could go, the location, and the brochures from Viking. It was very easy to work with Viking. The facilitation of the air travel, the connections, the flexibility, when doing live chats with Viking all made it enjoyable. I don’t think there’s anything they could’ve done differently in order to make the cruise more enjoyable. My wife and I traveled with four other couples, and we met lots of interesting people. The food was wonderful. We enjoyed the wine. The excursions were extremely well done. I think we will plan on doing another Viking cruise. We are just sorry that we waited so late in life to do it. We were fortunate enough to be able to afford Viking cruises so much earlier age, but just did not participate. In fact, this is the first cruise we’ve ever taken other than 40 years ago when our children were small. I must say that the staff all the cruises are remarkable. At least that is true for this cruise on the Rhine river with the long ship Kara.
I am not actually sure of the letter designation of our cabin. However, the cheapest cabins were all that were available when we chose the cruise.
