This cruise was a christmas gift given by my family to go as a group and it was also my first cruise. 1st with a unorganized and poorly planned check in of my bags, lines for lines, rude and obviously poorly trained staff, lines were supposed to be separated so there could be a process of who could check their bags in order, but it ended up as a free for all when the lines were opened and people just cut in front of each other. 2nd same type of situation trying to load the boat, no control of people cutting in front of people. 3rd waiting for our bags in our rooms for 2 hours. 4th trying to setup our accounts on their intranet so we can communicate with each other, which was a extra charge and it was horrible, it only worked 10% of the time and when we asked the guest relations, their reply was they were having problems too. Is that our fault? They didn't even offer our money back for the service that doesn't work. 5th the very small room was the size of a bathroom and a closet that came with a extra charge of $20 per person, per day, we had 3 in my room $60 per day, they did not even change our bed sheets or comforters at all, they only changed our towels with spoted towels (dirty), 6th the food was good but again it was unorganized and poorly planned, there were people cutting in front of people fighting over bacon, horrible. 7th we were not given the same amount of time at each port we stopped at. Two of the ports were less than 5 hours, with the long lines to get off the ship and the shuttle ride, we just had enough time in ketchikan and victoria to get into the city place a to go order for food and head right back to the ship. No touring or anything. Might as well not even have stopped there. In summary do not take this alaskan cruise from norwegian on this boat the encore. With the amount of people they booked on it 3720 passengers, they do not care about you or there customers, only the amount of money they could collect.

Cabin Review

Cabin cramped and small with a service charge of $60 per day. Not worth it.
